Breathing fire on Nanny's census

The Wellington firebreather made short work of a stack of census forms tonight at the Botanic Gardens Soundshell, doing what he does best in front of a crowd of forty or so that included a group of scouts chanting "Burn, Census, Burn!"

I trust a few other 'barbeques' also went as planned.

I could be in trouble if someone chooses to create workcamps for people of Gaelic-Scottish-Kiwi ethnicity. Maybe I should have pciked Pict?

And if anyone is looking for deeper analysis on those who travelled to work in a gyroscope, then give me a bell - I can organise a meeting with a close friend of mine.

Yc,-
all well and good, but better if it was some group not directly associated with the any particular political party.

Nah. If you're refusing for any other reason than the Libz one you're not really refusing at all. Cryogenic Hamiltonians and "I'm a work of art" Christchurchers...we don't want to 'get down' with those nobs.

Maybe organise groups to go out and beat census-takers with sticks, things like that :)

That'll send mixed messages though since the Statistical Army is already employing exactly that!

Oh I see, the "census-takers" and the "Statistacal Army" are the same thing. Thought you wanted to beat the population!

Yes, I do think the image of these government henchmen could use some blackening.

to win the battle, and to do that you can't have this sectarian "if you don't see things my way, you can't play with my ball" devisiveness;

But you must! It needs to be for the same principle, because it's on the principled battleground that we must win. Some motly crew of census dissenters might win their way & end the compulsion but that's worthless in itself. The process is more important than the result.

But if it's personality cult subculture you're talking about with the "my ball" thing, then yes I agree. But it ought to be possible to create a group without that failing.
